The Great Depression
I think that the most important thing to the Great Depression was unstable international debt structure. This was the base of why this tragedy even happened. After the credit card was introduced to many people began spending money that they did not have not only the US but European countries also. The banks went under and the stocks crash and people were out of jobs and money; resulting in the Great Depression. All of this happened because of the fact that the US had and unstable international debt structure, and did not know how do deal with the situation other than to panic and close down all of the banks. If this was more stable, im not saying that this would have never happened, but i am saying that it could have been dulled tremendously. Eventually we come up with a system wear we give money to Europe so that they can pay off Britian and France so that they inturn can repay us. not really leaving us with more that we started with, but a help to the international debt.
