Life in the Great Depression
During the Great Depression their was no money sparing food and almost no jobs to be found. The stocks had crashed making the people extremely upset not to mention poor. Can you imagine... just recently we had a tough time in out stocks resulting in losing thousands of dollars, but can you imagine losing it all. That was how it was for the people back then. Eventually the men began to believe that it was there faults that they could have stopped it or changed it in some way, but the couldnt. They were with out jobs and food and some were even living in there cars, or trying to sell there cars. 25,000 banks failed from the start of the depression in 1929 to the end around 1939. The Great Depression is an accurate name for that time period, this being because it was the worst depression ever in the US or anywhere at that. To many people unemployed with families to feed and too many people in need of jobs, and no one had a penny to give.
